Matias Cevallos is a 24 year old artist from Quito, Ecuador. His passion for music and its transformative power led him to pursue an undergraduate degree in Music Composition from Universidad San Francisco de Quito and now masters degree in Music Technology from Georgia Institute of Technology. Matias's artistic journey is characterized by a fusion of technological experimentation and musical composition. Within their portfolio we can find diverse projects with organizations like UNICEF, USAID and WHO. Some of Matias’s most recent projects include collaborations with the Psychologist and Professional Dancer Emilia Garrido in both the Award-winning dance piece "I Used to live in the mountains (the descent towards the sea)” and “A Place in Between”, a groundbreaking dance piece which sheds a light on neurodivergence within the arts.
